posted Feb 1st, 2024 - The NSL News provided live coverage several times from SkyVenture New Hampshire when owners Laurie and Rob Greer, together with Ben Liston, invited 4-way teams to their annual 1-day Tunnel Fest. Live coverage from the competition site ended with the impact of the corona virus crisis and continued in a slightly different way when the event had its comeback in 2022 and 2023.

The slightly changed NSL News coverage from the competition site was not made available for the public in the beginning, as Ben Liston and his former Mass Defiance team mate Steve "Scuba" Feldman, alias NGL-TV Anchor Gurt Kabel, were still practicing the new version of live event coverage.

Eventually, they published one of the earlier practice sessions with NGL Live Talk on 8 November 2023. The response of the audience was overwhelming, and they decided to offer the NGL News live coverage of the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest 2024 for the third comeback event after the pandemic. Ben Liston and NGL-TV Anchor Gurt Kabel recorded one of their NGL Live Talk conversations and shared it with the NSL News. They also agreed to invite the audience that was not present at SkyVenture New Hampshire this year and provide the recorded impressions of the event atmosphere.

NGL-TV Anchor Gurt Kabel featured the winning team of his former team mate and meet director Ben Liston to the audience, Chicken Bolts. The NSL News had reported the results of the indoor competition and more information about the winning team on January 22nd and followed up with more information a few days later, while the NGL News recorded the interview live during the competition at SkyVentue New Hampshire.

NGL-TV Anchor Gurt Kabel introduced the team members of the new Chicken Bolts lineup during the interview. Monique Lai, Doug Hendrix and Ben Liston had won bronze medals in 4-way Advanced at the USPA Nationals 2023, together with Andrew Yin and David Gerstein on camera.

Andrew Yin had different plans for the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest and competed with Spicy Meatballs in the 4-way Advanced/AA category, where he ended up in 4th place, four points behind Snatch Force (144 - 148).

Snatch Force member Jennifer Cook replaced Andrew Yin for Chicken Bolts, who still fended off the Lite Reunion opponents on the 4-way Open/AAA leaderboard and won this year's competition. NGL-TV Anchor Gurt Kabel asked meet director Ben Liston a few challenging questions related to the 4-way Open/AAA competition during the interview with Chicken Bolts. The 4-way Advanced/AA leaderboard features two of the most consistent teams at the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest, Foxy & The Hounds at their 4th consecutive visits, and Snatch Force.

Jennifer Cook happily accepted the double duties with Chicken Bolts and Snatch Force, as she is one of the original members of the all-female Snatch Force lineup, even though Mass Defiance member Brian Stephens took one of the slots several times in the earlier years of Snatch Force. Only Belinda Silva's husband John Silva, also an original Mass Defiance member, had the same honor after Snatch Force turned into an all-female lineup.

Snatch Force is the longest-standing team at the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest, which was launched in 2008. The NSL News coverage of the event began with the 2009 leaderboard and the related updates. 28 teams competed at the second 4-way competition at SkyVenture New Hampshire, and Snatch Force, with coach Brian Stephens, finished in 5th place in the 4-way Advanced/AA Class.

Snatch Force and Jennifer Cook have not missed any of the 12 events ever since, and they have one 1st place on the Advanced Class/AA leaderboard in their records at the 2019 event, which had record participation with 41 teams.

The same event was the last time that the NSL News provided live coverage from the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest. NGL News, with Gurt Kabel/ Steve "Scuba" Feldman, have taken over the event coverage and started with the NGL Live Talk interview with Chicken Bolts. The NGL News may follow up with more recorded footage to share.
