posted Apr 9th, 2024 - The Indoor Cloud League events continue to provide interesting topics for NSL News updates. The discussion of CSC Constellation XP's technique for Block 10 (Diamond - Bunyip) is far from over, and Arizona Airspeed's team captain Niklas Hemlin added his expert knowledge and experiences during a new NSL Live Talk conversation from China.

The Block 10 topic came up with the Indoor Cloud League sequences for the month of February, when Block 10 was a part of the AAA Class sequence (J,21,D,10) which CSC Constellation XP performed for the ICL Midwest team. The ICL update of the February competition included Florida team 4Action who are in a very similar situation.

CSC Constellation XP and 4Action both train the AA/Intermediate Class dive pool and perform new AAA Class blocks only for their Indoor Cloud League teams, CSC Constellation XP for ICL Midwest, 4Action for iFLY Fort Lauderdale. They were back in the same situation when a different slot-switching block (Bundy - Bundy) was a part of the AAA Class sequence (H,8,E,12) in March. CSC Constellation XP, this year's AA/Intermediate Class indoor champion after the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship in February won the two Open Class sequences (AAA - AA) once again over 4Action, who finished in 4th place at the same event.

Indoor Cloud League March 2024 Highscores: Hurricane Factory - ICL Midwest - iFLY Fort Lauderdale

Both Indoor Cloud League teams were separated by only three points in March (99 - 96), and the six points that CSC Constellation XP members won with the two 4-way Open Class sequences were crucial for this Indoor Cloud League duel. The Czech ICL team at the Hurricane Factory Prague is currently still out of reach for both U.S. teams.

However, both U.S. lineups who performed the RRR Class sequence (C,L,N) outscored the Czech 4-way juniors of HF Helicopters by two points and tied the 22-pointer highscores in this category, at least for the moment. The March leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League is not complete yet.

Volaticus accomplished the first highscore for the iFLY Fort Lauderdale team in March, if no other teams still submits a higher scoring number. Volaticus have not attended yet a live indoor or outdoor competition. They have plans to possibly attend the April meet of the Florida Skydiving League, where 4Action will be jumping from planes again, as well. 4Action will drop the six slot-switching blocks of the AAA Class dive pool for the same outdoor competition at Skydive Sebastian, as they plan to compete in 4-way Intermediate at this year's national outdoor championship.

4Action at the USPA Nationals 2023 and the Shamrock Showdown 2024

4Action competed with the same current lineup at the USPA Nationals 2023. Joe Vianna then joined the team on camera for the 2024 season, and he has filmed 4Action at the FSL February meet at Skydive City, then again at the Shamrock Showdown 2024.

The Shamrock judges (Jim Rees, Claire King, Dirk Venter) liked the 4Action performance and rejected only one exit due to the video angle. 4Action increased their performance and scoring level significantly at Skydive DeLand last month, after the 7.6 average at the USPA Nationals last year.

On top of the cash prizes for the AAA Class teams and $1,000 in the Skins Game, Skydive DeLand rewarded the winner of each category with $200. 4Action did not have much competition on the AA Class leaderboard and earned their cash prize with the team's outdoor record average. 4Action's 9.2 average in DeLand is not far from the level of medal positions at the USPA Nationals. CSC Constellation XP missed the outdoor bronze medals by three points last year, and 4Action matched the 9.2 average exactly last month. More outdoor training may lift the Florida team to the position that CSC Constellation XP missed last year. However, the Midwest team is probably the top contender for this year's AA/Intermediate Class competition.
