posted Apr 15th, 2024 - Poland's national team in 4-way Open of the past years, Flyspot Sky4Four, was founded at the end of the 2012 season. Anna Baranska, Zbigniew Kordzikowski, Tomek Rzeczkowski and Arek Szczebiot were the original members, and the NSL News has archived scoring records and team information since 2014.

The original lineup started with their training of the AAA Class dive pool under the supervision of Czech 4-way godfather Jan Klapka in 2013. The next lineup, Anna Baranska, Zbigniew Kordzikowski, Tomek Rzeczkowski and Arek Szczebiot with Michal Baranski, won their first national bronze medal the same year.

The NSL scoring records began in 2014 when Irishman Gordon Hodkinson replaced Anna Baranska for a maternity break. NMP PCH HayaBusa member Roy Janssen was coaching the team until 2017, after winning his 4-way world championship title in Prostejov 2014. The team name changed to Sky4Four when Artur Romanczuk joined the new lineup in 2015.

Anna Baranska was back together with Zbigniew Kordzikowski and Michal Baranski in 2016, and Maciej Naumiuk became the new tail in 2017. This lineup trained and competed together until 2019, before Joanna Hulboj took the tail slot. Sky4Four's last AAA Class lineup still competed for Poland at the 4th FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championship 2023 in Slovakia.

Sky4Four trained the AAA Class dive pool since the team was founded in 2012, despite the personnel changes. Original team member Zbigniew Kordzikowski said that the new lineups always had to begin with basic 4-way training. However, they continued in the AAA Class to be eligible for the national championship title and the status of the national 4-way team.

David Grauwels was the next HayaBusa member who was working with Sky4Four when the new lineup with Joanna Hulboj began with their training. Zbigniew Kordzikowski had been coaching Ladies Power, the all-female team where Joanna Hulboj started her 4-way career and won the national AA Class indoor championship title before she joined Sky4Four.

The complete front piece (Anna Baranska and Michal Baranski) retired after the indoor world championship in April 2023. Zbigniew Kordzikowski and Joanna Hulboj started rebuilding the team, while they still competed with the 2023 lineup at the Flyspot Open 2023. There was still no serious opponent for the national 4-way title, and Sky4Four won without much training since the indoor meet in Slovakia. The rebuilding of the new lineup was still a challenging task, and the other AAA Class teams in Poland would probably soon have an opportunity to catch up with the reigning 4-way champions of the past years.

Joanna Hulboj and Zbigniew Kordzikowski were the two returning Sky4Four members, even though Zbigniew Kordzikowski is also looking for new talent for the team. He plans to step out of his inside center slot as soon as he and Joanna Hulboj find a fourth 4-way competitor who has the potential to continue with Sky4Four.

They have found two new team mates by now. Joanna Kozakowska, formerly Sulowska, was recruited as an alternate for Sky4Four in 2021. She was still training and competing with Ladies Power at that time, the same team that Joanna Hulboj started with. The Sky4Four members trained her individual skills and the block techniques in anticipation of her future with Sky4Four.

Joanna Kozakowska took her own maternity break at the end of 2021, and she was back in 4-way action in May 2023. That was the same time when Katarzyna Kowalczyk joined the team as the second new Sky4Four member. She is a new 4-way competitor and started with individual and team training for the point position when she joined Sky4Four. Zbigniew Kordzikowski is confident that he and Joanna Hulboj have selected very promising new team mates. They stepped down into AA Class competition, where the new lineup can collect their first competition experiences. The first two meets and 20 competition rounds included five AAA Class sequences that indicate where Sky4Four's starting position will be at.
