posted May 8th, 2024 - The Czech Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory has added new scores and videos to the April leaderboard as early as usual, even though the ICL Midwest team was even faster with the April results this time.

The traditional Czech indoor competition season was concluded after the last monthly 10-round competition and the visit of Crazy Dragons at the FAI Indoor World Cup. The transition to outdoor training and competition is in full swing, while at least the Czech 4-way junior teams continue with the monthly Indoor Cloud League participation.

The internal Czech ICL leaderboard for April is showing eight teams in competition for the highest scores per category, and six of them are current or former 4-way junior lineups. Skywalkers Junior, a complete 4-way outdoor team by now, are still winning the AAA/AA sequences, even though HF Chameleons, Czech national team in 4-way Junior, are challenging them seriously every month. The HF Helicopters juniors keep taking care of the A/RRR Class sequences, while one of the two senior lineups claimed the highscores for two of the three Rookie Class categories (RRR - RR - R). TNT is a new Czech 4-way indoor team who outscored the other senior lineup, Dycky Most, at their first appearance.

Even Jan Klapka himself did not participate actively in April, after the completion of the indoor winter season and the transition to outdoor training and competition. His M Team of seasoned Czech 4-way outdoor competitors, first attends all indoor meets and then switch to outdoor activities as soon as possible.

Jan Klapka, the Czech Republic's 4-way godfather and creator of the extremely successful 4-way junior school program, is not only entertaining himself and the Czech 4-way juniors with 4-way training and competition, even though he has been passionate about his favorite event throughout his entire skydiving career, which includes several national indoor and outdoor championship titles with the Bad Boys.

He and former HF Flying Circus member and Crazy Dragon's outside center Martina Vavackova have also put together the 8-way team OctopuCZ, as the NSL News reported on 8 February 2020. OctopuCZ competed for the first time at the Weembi FS Cup 2024 indoor competition. OctopuCZ members Martina Vavackova, Jan Klapka and Mirek Slansky then added seven other Czech Formation Skydiving competitors and attended a recent 10-way competition in Klatovy, Czech Republic. It was the complete Skywalkers Junior lineup with all five members, plus Mirka Musilova and Alan Dudek, who completed the six 10-way rounds from a Skyvan and placed 7th of 15 teams.
