However, the official celebration took place during the Arizona Challenge at the end of last month, as the NSL News reported on May 26th. The NSL News followed up next day with a medal count of 4-way and 8-way world champions, where Airspeed members are on the top of the rankings.
The NSL News wrapped up the coverage of the celebration with NSL Live Talk and a conversation with team captain Niklas Hemlin on May 29th. Thousands of Airspeed fans and other audience from across the Formation Skydiving competition planet followed the NSL News coverage with great interest and participated indirectly in the celebration. The attention to Arizona Airspeed's anniversary did not leave much room for other topics in the same time period. NMP PCH HayaBusa were in training in Brazil at the end of April, and remote NSL Live Talk featured at least the latest insights before the Arizona Airspeed anniversary celebration. The NSL News also followed up with an overview of the highest meet averages in history since 1985. NMP PCH HayaBusa is still holding the five top spots of this special ranking.
The weather in Belgium still does not guarantee yet the successful completion of a training camp, while Florida weather is in full summer mode by now, and before the hurricane season begins. The main portion of the training has taken place once again at Skydive City in Florida, even though the NSL News met the team at the Jump Florida skydiving center in Lake Wales.
The last two days of the training camp took place in Lake Wales, as Skydive City was not in full operation on a Tuesday and Wednesday in the summer time. NMP PCH HayaBusa had the Cessna Caravan at Jump Florida mostly to themselves for their twelve training jumps and had more than enough extra time for NSL Live Talk after the early completion of the training agenda. In fact, the recorded conversation took place in the middle of the training day, right at half-time after six jumps, when a power failure allowed the team a longer break than planned. The timing was perfect, and only debriefing was left for the team agenda after the second set of six back-to-back jumps.
The twelve training jumps on Tuesday were dedicated to B-slot training for the newest and youngest team member Ray Lodens. It was the first time that he practiced the details of the other slot in the front piece. He is the point for HayaBusa, Dennis Praet outside center, whenever the FAI/ISC lineup is in training.
HayaBusa's two different lineups did not train with both lineups at this training camp. David Grauwels has been on camera all the time at Skydive City and at Jump Florida, after he took turns with Ray Lodens every day at previous training camps. HayaBusa had decided that they would save the expenses for the additional videographer for a combined training camp and use the opportunity to train the new front piece even more. Ray Lodens was in Dennis Praet's exit slot and outside center all the time, the same training format that Arizona Airspeed's front piece (Niklas Hemlin/Joey Marshall) recently applied for a whole training camp.
