posted Jun 27th, 2024 - RhEvolution XP were one of the three teams who launched their outdoor competition season at the Paraclete XP Summer Classic 2024, XPG4, RhEvolution XP and XP Falcons all had attended the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship in February, while new A Class team AirGo have only competed outdoors this year.

It was the second time for RhEvolution XP at the Summer Classic, after the previous visit in June 2019. The members of the current lineup were present at the same event last year, while they trained with 8-way team Bra Nok XP for the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023.

The NSL News provided a RhEvolution update from Paraclete XP on 23 July 2023 that included NSL Live Talk with the same current lineup during the 4-way training on the weekend after the Summer Classic. Bra Nok were not in training on the Summer Classic weekend this year, and RhEvolution posted their first outdoor scores at Skydive Paraclete XP. There was no new NSL Live Talk with RhEvolution at this year's Summer Classic, while team founder Chris Normandeau confirmed that Bra Nok will also continue in 2024, after the first 8-way appearance at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship.

All four current RhEvolution members competed in 8-way at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship, as well, even though they were not together in the Bra Nok lineup. Player-coach Andrew Happick is training and competing with GKXP8 to add the second world championship title to his collection later this year.

However, he was back with RhEvolution XP for the 4-way Open Class competition at the indoor championship, where the same lineup finished with a 21.8 team record average. The Summer Classic was a part of the RhEvolution preparations for the USPA Nationals, where they will probably leave behind the team's outdoor highscore, as well.

RhEvolution XP's current lineup (Chris Normandeau, Kim Hollander, Christine Bruchac, Andrew Happick, with Radim Studeny on camera) had finished with 17.3 at the USPA Nationals 2023. Kevin Penn was on camera at the Summer Classic, where the same lineup posted a 16.5 average. The 17.3 at last year's national outdoor championship was supported by the Super Sequence in Round 1, and RhEvolution were already on the same scoring level without the Super Sequence after the ten rounds at the Summer Classic.

It's the second time in the RhEvolution XP history that the same lineup continues for a second year. The pandemic lineup of 2020/2021 (Chris Normandeau, Chris Webb, Matt Alarif, Alex Bucevicius) could attend only one national outdoor championship in 2021, before the next lineup (Chris Normandeau, Christine Bruchac, Alex Bucevicius, Zachary Winoker, Radim Studeny on camera) won USPA's Advanced Class gold medals. The current lineup will be able to post scores at two consecutive USPA Nationals.
