posted Jun 28th, 2024 - The outdoor summer season has always been a challenging time for the Czech Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory. The 4-way seniors enjoy jumping from planes in the summer, while the 4-way juniors and their families use the summer vacation from school for traveling and other activities.

Once again, Jan Klapka had to find enough 4-way competitors to submit scores and videos for the month of June, and it will not become much easier in July. However, five of his teams were available to visit the Hurricane Factory, and three of them combined for the June total in the six ICL categories.

Skywalkers Junior covered the AAA/AA sequences during their preparations for the second meet of the Czech Skydiving League. They had started this year's outdoor competition season with the 15.1 average in June, as the NSL News reported on June 12th. HF Chameleons, the Czech national 4-way junior team and indoor experts, had outscored Skywalkers Junior in the same two categories in May. This time, the HF Chameleons were not available, and Skywalkers Junior stepped in with a total of 45 points for the AAA/AA combination.

HF Helicopters, HF Unicorns and HF Junior Green were still available to represent the Czech junior generation in June, and the Helicopters took care of the two A/RRR Class sequences. The new TNT lineup with Czech 4-way seniors could not claim any highscores in May, when the HF Shark juniors dominated the Rookie Class sequences.

TNT had scored for the Hurricane Factory at their first appearance in April and increased their scoring level significantly ever since. In fact, the 29-pointer for the R Class sequences had to be capped at 25 points, according to the ICL regulations. TNT matched the total of Skywalkers Junior with 45 points, and the small group of five Czech teams still combined for a total of 138 points in June.

Skywalkers Junior now switch back quickly to outdoor training and competition, as the CZSL July meet is coming up next week. They will meet the British 4-way teams again on the AAA Class leaderboard, as it happened in May. Skywalkers were already out of reach last month, and they will be eager to increase their highest team average (15.1) in July, as well. The July meet will take place on their home turf in Most, after the outdoor season opener was hosted by the skydiving center in Prostejov.
