Did You Know...

... that CSC Singularity took the lead in the A Class rankings?

First doub;e-digit average: CSC Constellation XP
posted Jul 11th, 2024 - The third June leaderboard of the NSL 4-way Network had two more teams that were not included in the NSL News updates on June 7th and on June 12th. The first update covered the scores which were already available after the meets in Great Britain and California. The second one followed up with more scores from the Czech Republic.

Last and not least, two more teams from the Midwest Skydiving League area completed the third combined June leaderboard with scores and videos for the AA and A Class sequences. CSC Constellation XP and CSC Singularity both completed seven rounds in their respective categories.

Both Midwest teams are not new on NSL leaderboards at all, as they have been participating at Indoor Cloud League events for the ICL Midwest team and several other competitions. CSC Constellation XP won the national indoor title in the AA/Intermediate Class at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2024, and they are expected to be a top contender at this year's USPA Nationals, as well.

The 10.0 average after the seven completed rounds was the first time on the double-digit level at an outdoor competition. The combined AA Class leaderboard calculates only the scores that all teams completed at the different locations, which were the four rounds of the British teams at their second meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League 2024.

CSC Singularity also lifted their scoring level from 5.4 to 6.0 after their seven rounds. However, the loss of several points due to the camera angle after the exit in the earlier rounds did not allow the Midwest A Class team to take the top position after Round 4, which concluded the combined leaderboard, as well.

They posted their highest score of the first rounds with the 7-pointer in Round 4 and followed up with the three more rounds on the same level, which compensated for the losses in the earlier rounds.

CSC Constellation XP finished on the top of the AA Class leaderboard with a 6-point lead and three of the highscores after Round 4, while the A Class competition was much tighter. Even only the first four rounds that all teams completed had five of them with highscores in different rounds, and the same five teams were separated by four points after Round 4.

CSC Singularity's 6.0 average would have taken the 1st place on the A Class leaderboard. The average after all seven rounds was still enough to take away the top spot on the U.S. leaderboard in this category, which Florida team AirGo had before. The A Class run-up to USPA medals continues.
