The 1-day break in Formation Skydiving competition offers the opportunity to take a closer look at the combined 4-way leaderboard after four rounds. The inclusion of the 4-way Women teams on the AAA Class leaderboard changes the picture of the best 4-way teams in the world significantly. Three of the five 4-way Women teams are currently well within the Top 10, and XPG4 are tied with the Qatar Tigers in the bronze medal position of the 4-way Open Class teams.
German 4-way Women team Meltemi Oceanside Illertissen are only two points behind Apex in 11th place and could still join XPG4, China and Nephtys in the Top 10 of the combined leaderboard. Thyra is in reach of the two 4-way Open Class teams and will be eager to catch up with Netunos (Brazil) and Havoc (Australia). The Thyra troubles have continued, as outside center Alice Solberg pulled a biceps muscle in Round 1 and has been head-jamming the exits ever since. The 1-day break will be helpful for Thyra to take on the battle with the two Open Class teams at the bottom of the combined leaderboard.

It was the extraordinary 2018 lineup of the French national team in 4-way Women (Christine Malnis, Sophia Pecout, Clementine Le Bohec, Pamela Lissajoux, Michel Laynaud on camera) who outscored all 4-way teams in Australia 2018, except for NMP PCH HayaBusa and Arizona Airspeed.
Jennifer Davidson witnessed the French 4-way Women performance in Australia, while winning her 8-way gold medal with the Golden Knights. Now she is on the way to copy the French 4-way accomplishment with XPG4. Only the Qatar Tigers could probably stop XPG4 at Crystal Coast from taking the 3rd place on the combined leaderboard. Pamela Lissajoux was in the outside center slot of the Weembi Girls in Australia 2018. She will be back on the 4-way Women podium with the Nephtys this week, who are in 6th place on the complete AAA Class leaderboard.
