posted Oct 20th, 2024 - It is time to mix up NSL News coverage of the 26th FAI World Formation Skydiving Championships with updates after and of other events that happened in the meantime and are going on recently. The Indoor Cloud League is active all year long with the monthly events at different locations, and the Czech team at the Hurricane Factory in Prague was the first one with scores and videos for the month of September.

Skywalkers Junior were still back in September with taking care of the two ICL Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) even though they were active with outdoor training and competition at the same time. They joined forces with three Czech 4-way junior teams (HF Helikopters, HF Sharks, HF Juniors Green) to generate the September total for the Hurricane Factory (137).

The two 27-pointers of Skywalkers Junior demonstrated once again the growing strength of the youngest 4-way outdoor team in the world. There is no doubt that the five Skywalkers, excluding team videographer Jakub Klapka, were carefully watching the action at the 26th FAI World Formation Skydiving Championships in North Carolina while they conducted their own 4-way operation.

Jan Klapka has still been sorting the lineups of the other junior teams for the upcoming indoor winter season. However, at least he managed to have three complete lineups of 4-way junior competitors who could provide scores and videos for the other four sequences. He said that the HF Chameleons have come to an end of their time together, after creating two members of the current Skywalkers Junior lineup (Filip Lukavec, Michal Mikolasek) in their seven years of 4-way training and competition (2017 - 2014) in Jank Klapka's 4-way Junior School.

The Unicorns, who are re-naming their team to "Angels", Sharks and Helikopters each have to look for a new team member. However, Jan Klapka already has five new 4-way juniors, and the lineups and possibly more new team names will be introduced soon.

Skywalkers Junior had lost the internal Czech AAA/AA indoor duel with Cirkus 2.0 in August. Jan Klapka said that it was the current Skywalkers lineup who performed the two ICL sequences, with Michal Mikolasek for Kryštof Rulf this time. They were in outdoor training at that time and focused on technical details with a slower pace for the ICL sequences.

The specific agenda for outdoor training and competition worked out well, as Skywalkers Junior won the national outdoor championship with a new 17.0 team record average. They confirmed their new performance and scoring level at the ESL Championship 2024 where only the 14 point deductions kept them from moving up to the 18-average level. The outdoor season is over in the Czech Republic by now, and all Czech 4-way teams will switch back to indoor training and competition, which is the only option for the Czech 4-way juniors all year long. The September scores of Skywalkers Junior indicate what can probably be expected once they resume their indoor training.
