posted Nov 10th, 2024 - The Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Fort Lauderdale completed the two sets of six sequences in September and October with most of the participants at previous events that team members of 4Action have been organizing since January 2024.

The participants of the ICL team in South Florida have not missed any opportunity yet to learn more about 4-way Formation Skydiving competition by either using the three Rookie Class sequences (R - RR - RRR) as an introduction to the sport, or the more technical sequences (A - AA - AAA) as a competition training opportunity for the more dedicated teams. The iFLY Fort Lauderdale team has not missed any scores and videos for this year's monthly events.

4Action and Volaticus went through the whole dive pool in their respective categories before competing both at the USPA Nationals, Volaticus at least through the eight blocks of the A/Beginner Class, which they performed at the monthly ICL events.

4Action were assigned to the AAA/AA sequences, which allowed them to practice the complete AA/Intermediate Class dive pool and the additional six slot-switching blocks of the AAA Class dive pool that they will take on as soon as they step up to AAA/Advanced Class competition. 4Action is officially still eligible for the AA/Intermediate Class at the USPA Nationals after placing 5th this year.

In fact, 4Action will have practiced the six slot-switching blocks each (3,5,10,12,16,17) in two different sequences this year, as the twelve months bring back each of the six slot-switchers twice. Block 3 was drawn in only one of the eleven AAA Class sequences between January and November, and there is a very realistic chance that it will re-appear in December. Most of the continuity plans of 4-way teams assign all slot-switching sequences to the front piece, while the rear piece gets the opportunity only twice (5,17) when the blocks create two different pages. Teams with more training capacity have also added options for additional slot-switchers to the front piece (4,19) if it offers more efficient engineering, while all teams always have the opportunity to avoid slot-switching with usually more time-consuming "swing moves".

The monthly AAA Class sequences offer teams the opportunity for practice and experiments with all available options to find the best team specific continuity plan and test it in the competitive Indoor Cloud League environment.

The next outdoor season will soon begin for the teams in Florida, as the Florida Skydiving League continues with the early outdoor start of the year, which was standard during the early years of the league. 4Action and Volaticus both have little traveling to do in March when Skydive Spaceland will host their first FSL meet in Clewiston. Two more events will be held in January (Skydive City) and February, before the Shamrock Showdown 2025 concludes the FSL winter season next year.
