There was actually one complete 8-way team, QRF XONR8, that attended both events. The team members did not have to go back to Great Britain for the two weeks between the two indoor competitions. In fact, most of the team members of the international lineup live in France or near the French border in Central Europe.
The recent NSL News update of the Qatar Falcons visit at the British indoor championship mentioned that QRF XONR8 was the second guest team at the British indoor championship and finished in 2nd place behind the Qatar Falcons. They followed up two weeks later with a 3rd place at the Weembinamic behind two French 8-way lineups and with a new indoor team record average, which was supported by two very fast sequences in Rounds 5 and 10. The finishing order of the Top 8 rankings at the Weembinamic 8-way battles was perfectly identical with the Top 8 on the traditional leaderboard. Only the three 8-way teams on the bottom of the leaderboard scrambled their positions at the end of the ten Weembinamic rounds and the different format. The 4-way competition had created more differences in the rankings between Weembinamic format and traditional leaderboard.

She was also in the team that finished in 2nd place on the traditional Weembinamic 4-way leaderboard, Zip Le Pingouin, together with her 8-way team mates Noe Mattoni and Thomas Misztal. 8-way experts Martial Ferre and Gaelle Giesen guided this talented lineup to the 1st place with their wealth of 8-way experiences.
Reigning GKXP8 world champions Jeana Billings and Kirk Verner tried the same with their U.S. lineup, Infinite Octane, who had also competed at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2024. Six members of the lineup in February traveled to France and competed in both events, “Hopes and Dreams” and “Killers of Hopes and Dreams” in 4-way, Infinite Octane in 8-way.
Nova, in 2nd place of the 8-way competition, had guidance by the former team captain of the French 8-way world champions (2006/2008), Emmanuel "Manu" Sarrazin, who had also player-coached the French national 8-way team at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022. He had two Nephtys in his Nova lineup, Pamela Lissajoux and Elise Poindron, and their former team mate Jessica Thebault, plus former French national 4-way Open Class member Pierre-Emmanuel Balageas, father Arnaud Camproux and his daughter Elisa Camproux.
