posted Dec 15th, 2024 - Skywalkers Junior have been one of the busiest 4-way competition teams in the world since their transition from indoor to outdoor training and competition. Their team name is on 12 traditional leaderboards in 2024, and they have also posted additional scores every month for the two 4-way Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) of the Indoor Cloud League.

There is still another Czech team that matches the Skywalkers Junior record number of eight indoor meets between Januar and December 2024. AA Class 4-way junior team Panthers compete at the meets of the Czech Tunnel League, and they also travel to Poland for the events of the Flyspot Liga.

The Panthers competed three times at Flyspot in Poland this year, including the Polish Flyspot Open 2024, where they won the AA Class competition, as well as the 1st place in the same category at the Czech Indoor Open 2024. They won all three meets after the beginning of this year's indoor winter season in November until they ran into the Polish MAD Team this month as a guest team at the Flyspot Liga competition. MAD Team had been competing in the AAA Class since November 2020 and signed up for the AA Class at the December meet.

MAD Team - Panthers at the Flyspot Liga December

The Czech Panthers finished the ten rounds in Poland with a new team record average, which was high enough to challenge the home team for the first place on the AA Class leaderboard. Three points separated the two teams after Round 10 and a roller-coaster duel. MAD team had a very strong Round 1 and a 5-point lead after the meet opener. However, the Panthers fought back right away and turned the 5-point deficit into a 2-point lead in the next two rounds.

MAD Team responded and won the next four rounds consecutively for an 11-point lead before the Panthers had the stronger finish and won the last three rounds. MAD Team still had enough cushion to save a 3-point lead over the finish line.

The Panthers lineup still includes two team members who started training and competing together in 4-way Junior in January 2020 (Pavla Mlynkova, Anetka Parizkova). Elen Zielinska and Mikolas Velicka joined them for A Class training and competition at the beginning of the 2022/2023 indoor winter season. The two new Panthers members then even made the next step from 4-way junior to outdoor training and competition this year. Skywalkers Junior member Michal Mikolasek guided Elen Zielinska and Mikolas Velicka to their first outdoor competition at this year's national championship, as the NSL News reported on 31 August 2024. Former SDU GenZ 4-way junior Patricia Herdicky from Slovakia completed the Panthers lineup, with Tomas Berousek on camera. The Panthers were back with their complete lineup at Flyspot in Poland this month.
