posted Dec 16th, 2024 - The December meet of Poland's Flyspot Liga featured more than only the 3-point duel between MAD Team and guest team Panthers from the Czech Republic. The AA Class offered a similar competition between two teams behind the opponents for the top spots on the same leaderboard.

Once again, it was a Polish 4-way senior team battling with a 4-way junior team from the Czech Republic. Both senior teams eventually had the upper hand over the Czech 4-way juniors. The first update from Poland mentioned that the Czech junior Panthers were outscored despite their new team record average, and only by the MAD Team, who have been competing in the AAA Class since November 2020.

Poland's 4-way godfather Zbigniew "Zbig" Kordzikowski, who trains and competes with the country's national team Flyspot Sky4Four, informed the NSL News that there was a good reason why MAD Team had to scale down on the competition category for now. MAD Team had changes in the lineup that caused their decision to register for the AA Class competition this time. Inside center Marcin Rucinski has left the team, and MAD member Pawel Biedrzycki took his slot. Previous tail Daniel Szatkowski has moved to outside center, and a new 4-way competitor, Lukasz Palyga, is the new MADF point. Only the tail, Dariusz Kobylecki, continues in the same position. Zbig Kordzikowski's team, Flyspot Sky4Four, had their own re-building changes at the beginning of this year. Katarzyna Kowalczyk and Joanna Kozakowska replaced Anna and Michal Baranski, as the NSL News reported on April 15th. The new lineup stepped down to AA Class competition the same way as MAD Team for three meets and were back on the AAA Class leaderboard with the beginning of the 2024/2025 indoor winter season.

The new lineup finished behind Skywalkers Junior and Magic 4 from Lithuania with a 19.1 average at the Flyspot Open 2024. The December meet of the Flyspot Liga brought Magic 4 and Sky4Four back together on the AAA Class leaderboard, and the strongest Polish 4-way team reduced the difference from 12 points in November (191 - 203) to 11 points a month later (188 - 199). Magic 4 have now attended five indoor meets this year, three of them within less than the last three weeks.

The second Czech/Polish duel between 4-way juniors (Eagles) and seniors (Star4s) in the AA Class ended with the Polish upper hand, as well, even though the Polish team came back to the Flyspot Liga events with a different lineup. Zbig Kordzikowski explained that former tail Robert Leki has moved to inside center position, and former Dark Team member Wojtek Czura is the new tail. Michal Lasota is back in the point position, Tomek Rzeczkowski as outside center. Despite the changes, Star4s were back in the AA Class where they started the 2024 season in February. The previous lineup had competed in the A Class.

Zbig Kordzikowski said that other Polish teams are still missing on the current leaderboards, as well. Dark Team are still recruiting a new team member, while they deal with injuries at the same time. Crazy Donut and Dark Team may be back in action soon, while Flyspot Omega have discontinued. Zbig Kordzikowski also has a Flyspot Sky4Four Academy project in the makings. He hopes to launch it in the RRR Class at the beginning of the new year.
