Did You Know...

... that the Czech Indoor Cloud League team finished January with the highest total since May 2020?

Rusalky in May 2020
posted Feb 1st, 2025 - The Czech Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory provided the first scores and videos of the new year already before January was over, and it was a very impressive start.

The total of 156 points for January is the highest number since the Hurricane Factory team posted 158 ICL points in May 2020. HF Flying Circus were still scoring for the Czech team in the AAA/AA categories by then, and the current Skywalkers Junior, still split up in the 4-way juniors of HF Chameleons and HF Flying Rebels contributed the scores for the A and RRR categories.

The RR/R scores by junior team Rusalky had to be capped from 34 to 25 points for the RR sequence (M,F,Q) and 32 to 25 in the R Class (M,O). There were similarities in January 2025, as the Czech national champions, this time Skywalkers Junior) once again scored for the two Open Class sequences. Junior teams (Chameleons, Rebels) contributed the scores for the next two categories (A/RRR), while the HF Helikopters alone took care of the same two categories last month. The Rusalky juniors took care of the remaining two categories (RR/R), while the Sharks juniors (RR) shared the highscores for the same two Rookie Class sequences with senior team TNT this time.

All three Rookie Class sequences offered an opportunity to support a high total, and the Czech junior teams and the TNT seniors took advantage of the open door. All three scores (27 - 39 - 57) exceeded the maximum score of 25 points, which applies only for the RR and R sequences. The 37-pointer of the Helikopters remains intact and counts for the total of 156 points.

The Sharks juniors outscored the TNT seniors in the RR Class clearly (29 - 20), and they carried the reduced 25-pointer into the total number of points for January. TNT then managed to keep control of the R sequence (M,F), and they could match the 59-pointer of the quick Sharks with the same scoring number.

The video of the highscores is showing the actual 29-pointer by the Sharks and the 57-pointer by TNT, while the leaderboard reduces the two scores to the capped 25-pointers. The Panthers and Helikopters juniors battled again in the three categories of the Indoor Cloud League in January, while they were still separated on the leaderboard of the Czech Open Indoor Championship 2025. Helikopters won the AAA Class, Panthers the AA Class. The Panthers are currently trying to break through the 20-average benchmark on the AAA Class leaderboard of the Wind Games 2025.
