The NSL Power Rankings of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025 are showing SDC Rhythm XP on the bottom of the four U.S. teams who could turn this year's indoor championship into a 4-way thriller, even though Arizona Airspeed is actually not eligible for national indoor medals, at least not according to USPA rules.
The same four U.S. teams will still create a battle for the positions behind Aethers Medjay, and four teams will qualify anyway for the world cup in 2026. The sanctioning U.S. indoor federation could also decide to send the best four teams to any FAI/ISC world cup, includong Arizona Airspeed, as long as each team would be eligible according to FAI/ISC regulations. The U.S. stakes are high this weekend, and SDC Rhythm XP's new lineup is expected to be a challenger for the U.S. indoor medal positions. The team members confirmed during their NSL Live Talk conversation with Sonic that they trained enough with approx. 30 hours of tunnel time to be confident of their chances at Paraclete XP. They also copied the ten rounds of the Wind Games in training, which supported their confidence.

The current Rhythm lineup plans to complete 700 - 800 outdoor training jumps before the USPA Nationals, and the training includes friendly competition with the Golden Knights on a regular basis this summer. The first one will take place at the Shamrock Showdown 2025, where Arizona Airspeed and the French Aethers Medjay will post their first outdoor scores of 2025, as well.
Sonic was also asking the team members how they experienced the transition from the unofficial amateur status to the 4-way world of a full-time competitor. Doug Barron did this ten years ago, Chris Webb in 2022, Steve Loufek a year later. Greg Oldendick decided after the USPA Nationals 2024 that he will make the same move beginning this year. He had substituted for Keith Conner who left the team shortly before the national outdoor championship last year. Greg Oldendick started his jumping career as a student at Skydive Carolina, where Doug Barron and Andrew Happick were running their 4-way team project together. He started with 4-way training and competition in the Rookie Class of 2015 and is now on his way to contend for the U.S. slot at a world championship.
