Have You Heard...

... that Arizona Airspeed is the only team without penalties after Round 2?

SDC Rhythm XP on Saturday morning at Paraclete XP
posted Feb 22nd, 2025 - It was sunrise time when the 4-way competition of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025 began with Round 1 on Saturday morning. The best and most experienced AAA Class teams had to be there early to start the rotation of the 36 teams in the four 4-way categories (AAA/Open - AAA/Advanced - AA/Intermediate - A/Beginner).

Round 1 is always the most exciting and most challenging part of any competition, which was confirmed often enough by world champions and top performers in the sport. The NSL News was ready to cover the opening round early in the morning with a new NSL TV Unfiltered video clip.

The scores of Round 1 were posted an hour later, and the top of the leaderboard looked like it was expected, even though the Qatar Lions matched SDC Rhythm XP's performance level and took advantage of three point deductions for the U.S. team. Golden Knights and Tunnel Vision continued with their duel that had started with the ten rounds of the Wind Games, and Arizona Airspeed is ready to become a part of the group of U.S. teams who try to challenge the French Aethers Medjay. SDC Rhythm XP and Qatar Lions both seem to have the potential to keep in touch with the top group of teams, as they both matched the 29-pointer of Arizona Airspeed before their point deductions for infringements.

Arizona Airspeed met with Kamuran "Sonic" Bayrasli for NSL Live Talk before the start of the competition, as well. It was the completion of the indirect reunion of Ranch 2nd Generation (R2G), after he had interviewed his former team mates Michelle Karamon and Brenn Richards who train and compete with Tunnel Vision.

Former R2G members Joey Marshall and Chris Kuhlmann discussed the current situation of Arizona Airspeed with their former team videographer. They had been responsible for recruiting their two new team mates, Alisson de Vargas and Doug Hendrix, and it surely was not an easy task.

Former R2G members Michelle Karamon and Brenn Richards were ready to re-join their team mates of 2015 - 2016, and their performance with Tunnel Vision only confirms that they had the potential to continue with Arizona Airspeed, as well. However, there was no R2G reunion in the new Airspeed lineup. The scores after the first two rounds confirm both sides. The new Airspeed lineup is already on the U.S. top level and continue the clean performance style of the previous lineup. Airspeed is the only AAA/Open Class team without any penalties after the first two rounds, and they are still tied with Tunnel Vision. The competition is as exciting as it was promising.
