Did You Know...

... that Tano Parker continues with the family’s Formation Skydiving competition traditions?

Kairos in training at Weembi Lille
posted Mar 23rd, 2025 - The Wind Games 2025 had a new British 4-way team on the leaderboard that was registered as "UK Team" and then changed to Kairos when more information became available for the NSL News.

Kairos is a combination of young talent (Alice Gomm - 26, Tano Parker - 20) who were invited for AAA Class training and competition by former Pajama Pumas and Eros team mates Matt Cumming and Jodie-Leigh Foster. The team seniors said that their young team mates have both proven themselves to be fast learners and naturally talented.

Kairos started with indoor training at the beginning of the year and then traveled to Spain to attend the team's first competition, the Wind Games. Kairos are an outdoor team, as well, and they have a plan for the complete 2025 season. However, there is a bigger vision, as Kairos are aiming at eventually winning the national championships and becoming the British national 4-way indoor and outdoor team. They have defined their goal on the highest British 4-way level: “We want to compete at the World Championships and World Cups with the goal of becoming the all-time best British team.” The next competition for Kairos will be the Weembi FS Cup in April, with a much shorter travel distance compared to the starting point in Spain.

Kairos (UK) - Airdrops (INT) at the Wind Games 2025
Dennis, Vana and Tamo Parker
It is no big surprise that the youngest team member, Tano Parker, subscribed to the plans and the demanding goals. He has grown up in the Parker 4-way and 8-way family. Vana Parker is still NFTO member and will compete once again for the British delegation at the upcoming indoor world championship at Paraclete XP.

His father Dennis Parker has been competing recently mostly in 8-way, even though he trained and competed together with his wife for the South African 4-way team Voodoo for many years and at several world championships and world cups. Voodoo eventually became a British 4-way team, and the complete Parker family is still very active in Formation Skydiving competition.

Only Vana Parker (Dynos) and Tano Parker (Kairos) competed at the Wind Games, which is only a 4-way event. Both join forces with Dennis Parker when they switch to 8-way. This already happened this year, as well, when all three Parkers traveled to Berlin to attend the Hurricane Factory Cup, where they finished in 3rd place with Unagi. The next family event will be the FS Weembi Cup that Kairos have on their meet agenda, as well as the Dynos with Vana Parker. Dennis Parker will join the family's trip to Weembi Lille and the French version of the 8-way Hell Week. There is a good chance that the Parkers will all be back for outdoor competition, as well. They already won the British 8-way bronze medals with 008 last year.
