posted Apr 8th, 2025 - The first preview footage for NSL TV Unfiltered at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025 was recorded after the NSL News transition from Florida to North Carolina and Paraclete XP. The competition site is under construction with the final preparations for the event, while teams are still using the last days for their last training sessions.

Qatar coach Gary Smith was working with the Lions, and Martial Ferre introduced his 8-way team D'Arc8 to Paraclete XP's flying chamber. He said that it is slightly smaller than the one at Weembi Lille, which is relevant for 8-way training and competition in a 16-foot flying chamber. He is very familiar with both windtunnels after numerous 8-way Hell Week events at Paraclete XP and Weembi Lille both.

He said that there is more behind the story of No Name - D'Arc8 and the history of the team name. The NSL News will find him later to learn more, as the French 8-way team was in the middle of debriefing their training session when the NSL News arrived. The female 3-way part of NFTO (Anna Lea, Vana Parker, Julia Swallow) had already set up the British headquarters near the flying chamber for 4th member Pete Allum. The new NFTO 4-way Open Class lineup will be facing tough competition on their leaderboard, while the new XPG4 lineup are dealing with very strong opposition from China and France on the 4-way Women leaderboard, as well.

NSL TV Unfiltered: FAI Indoor World Championship Preview on Tuesday

New XPG4 member Laura Galdamez was debriefing the training on Tuesday with Michelle Karamon and Anna Brunner during the NSL News surprise visit. Michelle Karamon and Anna Brunner were team mates for two years (2022 - 2023) and are back together in 4-way action this year.

Last and not least, the NSL News ended up with former, current and future Arizona Airspeed members at the flying chamber just before closing time. It was a confusing situation for the observer, as none of the possible lineup combinations seemed to make sense and fit with the current Airspeed roster.

There was always a Brazilian 2-way and a U.S. 2-way in the flying chamber, and new Airspeed tail Doug Hendrix was consistently in his tail slot. It turned out that the other new Airspeed member, Alisson de Vargas, had invited his former Brazilian team mate Jorge Neto for player-coaching training with Niklas Hemlin, Doug Hendrix and himself. Alisson de Vargas and Jorge Neto were team mates with Brazilian 4-way team INIT-Y for several years, and Jorge Neto competes with the Netunos 8-way team, as well. Michelle Karamon stepped in when Doug Hendrix was not available any longer on Tuesday night. Team speed flying sessions and opening ceremony with competition draw are on the agenda for Wednesday.
