Thursday will probably be the lightest training day for most of the teams, as it is dedicated to the official training jump and the opening ceremony in the evening. Round 1 is scheduled for Friday morning. Tuesday and Wednesday both were very busy training days, and two of the three Cessna Caravans were busy all day long.
All 4-way Open Class teams have arrived, except Papea from Spain, Skywalkers Junior from the Czech Republic and Dutch home team Out Of The Blue. The NSL TV camera has also not recorded any presence of Thyra (Norway) and Funky Falcon (Netherlands) yet. Most of the 8-way teams have taken turns with the 4-way teams for the last training jumps, as well. The training action began early in the morning, with the two Scandinavian teams Echochamber (Sweden) and Agera (Norway) sharing the first Cessna Caravan. U.S. team RhEvolution XP completed the load with three teams. The same three teams are expected to aim for a ranking position in the Top 10, Echochamber and Agera may even try to challenge the two strongest U.S. teams, SDC Rhythm XP and the lineup with former XPG4 members Michelle Karamon and Brenn Richards, Niklas Hemlin and Craig Girard.
Aethers Lille and Nephtys Maubeuge landed when the NSL News recorded the Turnaround Tour and shared the bus ride back to the team hangar. National coach Mathieu Bernier did not only share the bus ride, he was also in the same Cessna Caravan with his two national 4-way teams. He was recording photo and video footage for his delegation, while Cameron Malie (Aethers) and Godeleine de Saint Just (Nephtys) were filming the teams as they usually do in training and competition.
NMP PCH HayaBusa joined the training action later in the morning, and coach Gary Smith arrived from his home on Texel to provide his coaching services. The 4-way teams of the Qatar delegation canceled their participation after the tragic loss of a Lions member not long ago, and Gary Smith has enough time to help the Belgians as he used to do in the past. He was working almost exclusively with NMP PCH HayaBusa when the Belgians won their four world championship titles in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021. HayaBusa are aiming at winning again in 2026, and the current lineup is expected to have their next battle with the Golden Knights in Teuge and move closer to the French indoor world champions.
