posted Sep 15th, 2025 - The NSL News update on September 3rd covered the successful visit of the Skywalkers Most at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025, where they finished with a new team record outdoor average in 6th place, and in 3rd place on the European leaderboard. The 19.6 average would have tied Echochamber's unofficial amateur winning average at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2024.

The Skywalkers outscored Sweden's Echochamber and Norway's Agera 4-way Open Class teams at the end of a very exciting 10-round battle and finished in 4th place of the participating countries' national teams. They were also very closely behind the two additional U.S. teams, SDC Rhythm XP and U.S. Team One.

The team name Skywalkers Junior is not really appropriate any longer, even though the team's average age is still below 19 years. The team members started together in 4-way Junior several years ago, except for team videographer Jakub Klapka, who had the tail slot for the active lineup of HF Flying Cirkus. They started the Skywalkers outdoor senior project in June 2023 when they finished with an 8.4 average in the AA Class. A few months later they won the national outdoor championship with a 14.4 average in the AAA/4-way Open Class. It was the same lineup that competed this month at the outdoor world cup in the Netherlands and posted the 19.6 average.

Skywalkers at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025

The conversation with the 4-way seniors of Skywalkers Most at the outdoor world cup included information of the team's training conditions at their home dropzone in Most. The meet average after the ten rounds at Skydive Teuge would have been even higher with more training from a Cessna Caravan that was the jump plane at the FAI event.

The Skywalkers did not launch the first formations of the ten sequences in most of the rounds. They are used to find a way how to master exits from the PAC 750XL in Most at all, and they had to make up for lost time at the beginning of each competition round, compared to the teams on the top of the leaderboard and ahead of them.

Skywalkers also still helped Jan Klapka and his Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory to maintain the lead on the 2025 leaderboard month by month, even though they had to prepare for the outdoor world cup at the same time. In July they contributed to the Czech ICL total with 42 points, in August with 38. They mentioned during the NSL Live Talk in Teuge that they will not switch back and forth any longer from here on forward. It sounded like they plan to keep climbing up on the AAA Class leaderboards and begin to challenge the usual medal winners very soon. The next indoor world cup is scheduled for April 2026 at Weembi Lille, and the monthly indoor meets of the Czech Tunnel League will allow their potential opponents to follow the progression of Skywalkers Most. It will also add plenty of indoor competition experiences to the Skywalkers collection.
