Tunnel Vision at the Wind Games 2025
posted Nov 7th, 2025 - Indoor team Tunnel Vision surprised the 4-way world in January this year. Michelle Karamon, Brenn Richards, Niklas Hemlin and Keith Conner finished with a 30.8 average at the Wind Games 2025 and were barely held off by NMP PCH HayaBusa from taking the 2nd place behind Aethers Medjay. HayaBusa won the extra round, while Tunnel Vision outscored even the Golden Knights and the rest of a strong field. The event in Spain was the beginning of an indoor project that Niklas Hemlin had in his mind after stepping back from training and competition with Arizona Airspeed.

The same lineup followed up at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025 a month later, where a slower draw held back all teams who had competed in Spain from scoring on the same level. The Golden Knights won the rematch with Tunnel Vision and their coach Niklas Hemlin and claimed their first national 4-way title. Now the U.S. Army team just united the U.S. indoor and outdoor titles after winning at the USPA Nationals 2025, as well.

The U.S. indoor championship was the end of the indoor season for the U.S. teams, even though Paraclete XP still hosted the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025 in April. Arizona Airspeed, U.S. indoor champions of 2024, represented the U.S. delegation in 4-way Open, XPG4 in 4-way Women, GKXP8 in 8-way Open. The Tunnel Vision members then turned to outdoor training and competition until the USPA Nationals.

NMP PCH HayaBusa - Tunnel Vision at the Wind Games 2025
Chimera at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022
It did not take long until Niklas Hamlin took his indoor team back into 4-way action after Round 10 of the last formation skydiving event at Skydive Arizona. Just a few days later, he went on a road trip to Colorado with Michelle Karamon and Brenn Richards, where they would meet their new team mate, who traveled to the same place coming from Great Britain. They met at iFLY Colorado Springs for an intensive indoor training camp.

Laura Hampton has replaced Keith Conner, and the new lineup has already trained several times during the outdoor season. Laura Hampton was one of the original Chimera members and has trained and competed with the British team since 2016. Laura Hampton, Sarah Ashworth, James Woods and Will Cooke, with Pete Harries on camera, discontinued with outdoor activities after their biggest success as a team when they placed 5th behind the best full-time teams in the world and won the unofficial amateur world championship title at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2022 in Eloy.

Chimera attended two more indoor competitions in 2024 and had no plans to return to serious 4-way training and competition. Niklas Hemlin invited Laura Hampton to join Tunnel Vision for his indoor project. She agreed and started training with the team soon after accepting the invitation, and she is moving to the United States.

New Tunnel Vision lineup in action at Colorado Springs
The audience will not have to wait long until seeing the new Tunnel Vision lineup in action. iFLY Colorado Springs is hosting a new indoor competition with the inauguration event this weekend, the U.S. Indoor Open. The indoor facilities at Colorado Springs have been the home for Tunnel Vision since the new lineup started with training, and iFLY Colorado Springs is sponsoring the team for the 2025/2026 indoor season.

Dani O’Neill is the manager at iFLY COS. Speaking of the new partnership with Niklas Hemlin and his team, she said: “We are thrilled to have Tunnel Vision as part of the iFLY Colorado Springs family and look forward to having them based here, hosting events, coaching and camps alongside their own training. They are all highly accomplished individuals in their own right and a proven team who we're proud to support as they continue their journey. They will play a big role in helping us to continue to grow our community and it's our ambition to become a destination tunnel for pro flyers who want to grow, thrive and achieve.”

Returning Tunnel Vision member Michelle Karamon agrees with Dani O’Neill: “iFLY COS is a really fun tunnel to fly in and the location is great because it’s super easy to get to and in a really beautiful area, too. We are looking forward to hosting lots of events there for skydivers at all levels and will also be working with the local Air Force on their skydiver development program. This new season represents new beginnings for us as a team, with a new sponsor and a new line up. We can't wait to get started!”
