posted Nov 13th, 2025 - The Double Trouble story in the United States began actually at the beginning of the year when Dan Schultz and Dan Suter decided to join forces for the Double D’s 4-way project and attend the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025. Double Trouble is a popular team name that has been in use by three other teams from Austria, Czech Republic and Netherlands. However, Dan Schultz and Dan Suter named their team Double Trouble only for the USPA Nationals 2025, after competing under Kirk and the Double D's at Paraclete XP in February, followed by Jen and the Double D's at the Shamrock Showdown 2025.

The Double D's, Dan Schultz and Dan Suter, had planned their player-coach team at least for the first two indoor and outdoor competitions of the year, with Jeana Billings and Kirk Verner in the lineup at both events. Kirk Verner was not available for the Shamrock Showdown, and Jennifer Davidson stepped into the open slot to join forces with her former XPG4 and current XP8 team mate. The team name changed to Jen and the Double D's for the outdoor competition at Skydive DeLand.

Neither Jeana Billings nor Jennifer Davidson and Kirk Verner were available for the 4-way competition at the USPA Nationals 2025. The XP8 members were committed to focus only on their very important 8-way qualification for the U.S. delegation at the outdoor world championship next year, and Kirk Verner was the only exception for his reunion of the original Arizona Airspeed lineup.

Double Trouble - Ranch TNT at the USPA Nationals 2025

The Double D's Dan Schultz and Dan Suter had to find replacements for their missing previous player-coaches and found reigning 4-way Women world champion Brenn Richards and her former Tunnel Vision team mate Keith Conner, plus Youngsup Lee on camera for Double Trouble. Kevin Penn, new XP8 videographer, had filmed the previous Double D's lineup at the Shamrock Showdown in April.

Kirk and the Double D's had a very exciting 1-point battle at the bottom of the AAA/4-way Open Class leaderboard of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2025, with a team that was in a similar situation with team name and lineup. GPTNT was 4-way Women lineup who indicated with the name at Paraclete XP that they had outdoor plans for the 2025 season, as well. Jennifer Cook and Kim Hollander would be back at the USPA Nationals 2025 with Erin Lewis and Angie Scoggins, Zach Lewis on camera.

It turned out that the Double D's Dan Schultz and Dan Suter would have an even tighter competition with the two TNT's Jennifer Cook and Kim Hollander, after the 1-point battle at the indoor competition. Both teams ended up tied in 8th place on the USPA leaderboard, leaving Rhetirement Rhedux and XP Angels behind in 4-way Open. Dan Schultz and Dan Suter may make new Double D's plans for 2026, while Jennifer Cook and Kim Hollander will compete for the U.S. delegation in 4-way Women with Ranch TNT.
