posted Nov 20th, 2025 - The NSL News reported the next and recent reunion of the three Norgies members Carl-Erik Tuv, Pål Kolbenstvedt and Torstein Valen with the update on November 12th. The story mentioned that Carl-Erik Tuv's daughter Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv has been training and competing with her 4-way Women team Thyra.

The Norwegian national team in 4-way Women, European bronze medal winners at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 and silver medalists at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025, are not yet at the level where Carl-Erik Tuv was and still is with the Norgies. However, father and daughter both keep working on bringing the young Thyra lineup to the highest level in the world's 4-way competition.

The Norgies had one of the most important advantages in the sport with a consistent lineup over many years. Even more than 30 years after competing for Norway at their first world championship in 1995, and after winning their first medals at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 1999, three of the original team members are still getting back together at least for indoor competition. The complete original lineup, including Lise Aune/Nansen, won their three sets of FAI bronze medals (1999, 2001, 2003) with exactly the same lineup and still continued for several years.

Thyra at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025

Thyra and Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv have not experienced yet the important factor of consistency with a 4-way team lineup, and they are still in development of the best lineup. The Thyra team project began in 2022, and the lineup changed every year for various reasons so far. Only Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv and Silvana Disch are now going into their 5th year together, and Dennis Barstad is still on camera for Thyra.

Youngest team member Vilde Hansen joined Thyra this year, as the NSL News reported on August 17th. She started jumping from planes in 2025 and then won a silver medal at the outdoor world cup just a few months later. Vilde Hansen continues with Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv and Silvana Disch in 2026, which creates a promising starting point, even though they had to look once again for a new team member.

Anna Fasting is not coming back for a second year with Thyra. She stepped in for the 2025 season when original Thyra member Camilla Marnor did not continue after her three years with the team. Thyra maintained the scoring level of the previous years with the new member and moved up to the 2nd place in 4-way Women at the outdoor world cup. Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv, Silvana Disch and Vilde Hansen are going into the world championship year with new team member Arlene Storebø, who used to be a team member of VossVind Girls, Norway's indoor team in 4-way Junior and 4-way Women until 2022. Vilde Hansen and Arlene Storebø became 4-way Junior team mates in 2016 and competed together in 4-way Women until 2022.

The new Thyra lineup is now the youngest one in the history of 4-way outdoor competition in Norway, and probably the youngest one in the history of the 4-way Women event. New Thyra member Arlene Storebø has to get ready for outdoor training and competition just as quickly as her former 4-way junior team mate. She plans to complete her AFF training at the beginning of next year.

Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv, Silvana Disch and Vilde Hansen are hoping that their new lineup will be able to defend the Norwegian FAI silver medals successfully at the world championship next year. At least the U.S. opponent will be stronger though, as Ranch TNT defeated Thyra's opponent at the outdoor world cup in Teuge, XP Angels, clearly at the USPA Nationals 2025.

However, Thyra will try to get ready for a new battle for FAI medals. Indoor training with the new lineup began this month, and the FAI Indoor World Cup at Wembi Lille will conclude the indoor winter season for Thyra. The team then plans to jump from planes more than ever next summer. Christiane Wilhelmine Sørfjord Tuv is hoping for outdoor training every other weekend. Arlene Storebø is expected to be done with her AFF training in April or May, and the team will have a lot of time for outdoor training after that. The outdoor world championship is scheduled for October at Skydive Arizona.
