Three rounds were almost completed at that point in time, and the Belgians were 19 points ahead of Germany in 2nd place. The German Bundeswehr 4-way team were only three points ahead of Turkiye (76 - 73), and the Czech team did not have a score for Round 3. Spain's national team in 4-way Open, Papea, had lost seven points due to the insufficient camera angle in the first two rounds and began catching up beginning in Round 3.
The next two completed rounds were showing that the expected battle behind NMP PCH HayaBusa is in full swing. Germany and Turkiye try to fend off Papea from Spain, who have won or tied the highscores for all rounds after the unfortunate beginning of the competition. At the same time, Germany's 3-point lead over Turkiye has shrunk to one single point. In fact, only Germany's 27-pointer in Round 2 is still the team's foundation for maintaining the 2nd place, and even the team from the Czech Republic is still within reach of the medal positions behind NMP PCH HayaBusa. Three more rounds is enough time for any of the same four teams to reach one of the two available slots on the CISM podium.

Block 12 is not a part of the CISM competition draw, and neither is the Caterpillar or the complete Block 15. The Cat
of Block 15 used to be a Random Formation in the CISM dive pool.
NMP PCH HayaBusa have extended their lead from 19 points after Round 3 to 31 points after Round 5, while the four teams behind have moved closer to each other. Germany, Turkiye and Papea were separated by eight points after Round 3, and six points are left of the advantage for Germany over Papea, currently in 4th place. NMP PCH HayaBusa finished the eight CISM rounds last year with a 33.4 average. David Grauwels was in the active lineup by then, and new member Ray Lodens was on the bench. There is a very good chance for the current lineup to get even closer to last year's meet average after Round 8. The remaining three rounds have the potential to generate more 30+ scores.
