Did You Know...

... that Airspeed's Craig Girard talked about World Cup and Nationals?

Craig Girard with Eliana Rodriguez at Bodyflight Bedford
posted Oct 4th, 2009 - The NSL News story on 2 October 2009 mentioned a recent interview with Airspeed's Center Outside Craig Girard who said that the slow sequences are very important to stay on the top. The video with this interview has now been uploaded and is ready for reviews.

Craig Girard and Eliana Rodriguez had just come back from trips to Brazil and Belgium. Arizona Airspeed had resumed the training after the travel times when the NSL News asked for an update a little over a week before the start of the 2009 USPA National Skydiving Championships.

Craig Girard answered the NSL News questions on Skype. The video shows Airspeed's last 10-round outdoor meet at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2009 while the conversation takes place.

Results of the latest NSL Poll
Craig Girard talked about the French performance at the FAI World Cup 2009 and how his team and Perris Fury tried to arrange a competition together where they would copy the competition draw. It did not work out, and Perris Fury then traveled to Texas to compete with Spaceland Force XP, which did not materialize, as well.

However, Airspeed copied the competition draw of the World Cup during the training and finished with a 23.9 average, one point behind the French team. Craig Girard talked about these jumps and explained why he has no problem to always openly talk about everything that Airspeed is doing.

The interview also includes a conversation about the importance of the slow sequences, which have kept the NSL News busy recently. The first feedback on the new poll shows that a majority of the audience believes that the top teams can bring the scores for the slowest sequences all to 20 points, already this year. The poll is still open. The interview with Craig Girard can also be discussed within the poll for the USPA Nationals 2009 and the other discussion platforms.
