Did You Know...

... that more videos have now been uploaded?

FSL team DiZturbia ready for Round 1
posted Oct 12th, 2009 - Uploading the video files was no problem at the hotel, and the first videos can already be reviewed.

They feature the opening ceremony and the first preparations of the teams right after the competition draw, and they are embedded in the related story.

The next video included scenes on Monday morning when things became very busy all of a sudden. This video is embedded in the next story that explained why the footage cannot be uploaded timely.

It was a strange situation, unlike any other championship competition. The jumpable weather situation came surprisingly, and the meet director reacted accordingly. The teams were officially released until 2:30 pm. However, they were invited to come back to the dropzone and jump if the weather would allow any skydiving.

Completed Round 1: Elsinore BTE
There was a time period when the teams manifested themselves until the meet management took back the control of the jump order.

This happened when the competition was officially resumed at 2:30 pm. Several teams, mostly of the Intermediate Class, had already completed their Round 1 by then.

From then on, the weather was going back and forth between sunshine and rain on a regular basis.

Eventually, Round 1 was completed by all teams in the Intermediate and Advanced Class competition, plus two teams of the Open Class meet. The remainder of Round 1 will be completed first thing in the morning if the weather allows.

Between rain and sunshine: Spaceland
Another video was already captured on Sunday and could not be uploaded earlier. The NSL News found the Danish national team Voluntas, the Australian team Black and their coach and videographer Solly Williams.

Yes, the DeLand Majik 4-way world champion of 2004 will be filming Voluntas at the USPA Nationals 2009.

Unfortunately, the video was cut short, and whatever is left can now be reviewed. The Aussies explained how their new lineup was formed by two halves of two other Australian 4-way teams. Both teams also talk about their reasons and motivation to compete at this event.

More videos are in the works, which will probably be available first thing in the morning.
