Did You Know...

... that the NSL-TV camera followed the top teams in Round 3?

Airspeed legend Jack Jefferies
posted Oct 13th, 2009 - Airspeed took the lead back in Round 3 by a point over Spaceland, Fury tied Spaceland’s 23-pointer but lost a video point after the exit. The Golden Knights lost a point too, and Fury has the 3rd place alone now.

The NSL News followed Airspeed on their heels and filmed the other three top teams while they got ready for Round 3.

The meet director already changed the jump order. The Top 4 (Airspeed, Spaceland Force, Perris Fury, Golden Knights) are now in the same Twin Otter. It was interesting to see them all together. They will have this situation for seven more rounds.

The NSL-TV camera was also out in the landing area with the camera when the teams landed. Airspeed legend Jack Jefferies was there at the same time and made some really funny comments. This video will also be uploaded this evening. Round 4 is in progress.

Ground work for Spaceland Force XP

A lot of "red ink" on the scoresheets

The internet situation is the same as yesterday. The videos of interviews, clips of the action and competition jumps have to wait until they can be uploaded in the evening. The NSL News apologizes for the delay and the inconvenience.

It will be exciting to catch up later, as the competition is already as tight and thrilling as everybody hoped for.

Spaceland Force XP came already back in Round 2 with a highscore and is tied in 1st place, together with Airspeed. The Force benefitted from two Airspeed penalties, which were difficult to detect for observers. Dan BC and Solly Williams discussed the judging situation later with the NSL News. The video of the interview will follow later.

Perris Fury lost a point in Round 1. Dan BC could not tell what the judges did not like. Spaceland Force had a point deduction due to the video angle in Round 1. Only the Golden Knights had two clean rounds.

Teams are busy with Round 3 now, another blue break in the skies may be enough to complete another round in 4-way.
