Airspeed did it again. Eliana Rodriguez, Craig Girard, Mark Kirkby, Andy Delk and Steve Nowak added consecutive victory no. 20 to the records since this lineup was formed. They successfully started a new series of 20+ meets. Craig Girard won his first national championship title 20 years ago. It seems like the 20 is a special number, not only for the NSL News...
The NSL News stays longer this time since the 8-way competition seems to be very exciting this year. Videos will be uploaded as soon as possible. Congratulations to the old and the new US 4-way champion, Arizona Airspeed.
Spaceland Force XP has been keeping up with Airspeed most of the time, just lost too many points and were missing the world champion's consistency. Another Force point got lost on the hill in Round 8, and it is very difficult to see why and how.
Perris Fury had a clean round, while the Golden Knights lost two points. SDC Rhythm XP lost even three points, and the NSL News will cover the race for the unofficial "amateur championship title" later.
Everything is open with two more rounds to go. Spaceland Havoc is not too far either. They are four points behind the silver medal position. Cross Keys Aerodyne is another four points behind the bronze medal spot and seems to be too far away. However, the two couples from Cross Keys have the same distance to Havoc as the Texas team has to Fallout.
It is a very unusual situation in the Advanced Class competition, as no team from the west coast is in the mix for medals. In fact, there is no west coast team in the Advanced Class competition at all. Round 9 is in progress.
