Did You Know...

... that new videos feature the world record show and the Golden Knights 8-way team?

Top 4 teams boarding the plane for Round 6
posted Oct 14th, 2009 - More 4-way videos of the competition jumps will be uploaded soon. There will be a lot of footage for follow up stories. However, the 8-way competition begins tomorrow, and the NSL News focuses more on the 8-way event for a few days.

The recent 4-way coverage finishes with a video clip that was filmed on Wednesday around noon. It was the time when Round 6 with the fast sequence of random formations finally came up for the 4-way teams in both AAA Class categories.

The NSL News intercepted several teams at the landing area and captured the first reactions after the jump, including the owner of the new world record, Spaceland Force XP. The NSL-TV camera was also there when the big world record show took place in the viewing area of the main hangar. The videos of the best jumps can actually already be reviewed while they were playing on DZ-TV. The real competition videos will hopefully follow soon.

NSL Talk with the Golden Knights
The other video features an interview with the new lineup of the Golden Knights 8-way team. Team captain Brian "BK" Krause provides information of this year's training efforts, and the team members introduce themselves to the audience.

Brian "BK" Krause said that his team completed approx. 900 training jumps and has a 4-year plan with this lineup. It will be a very interesting 8-way competition coming up. The Golden Knights are launching their big comeback into the 8-way event and go up with talent and efforts against the vast competition experience of two Airspeed lineups.

The real Airspeed 8-way lineup is the winning team of the last two years, with John Hamilton replacing Brian Johnson. Paraclete XP consists mostly of former Airspeed members. Only John d'Annunzio has never competed for Airspeed. More details will follow beginning tomorrow.
