Did You Know...

... that there is already an 8-way race at the USPA Nationals 2009?

Loads of fun - big smiles after Round 3
posted Oct 15th, 2009 - It will be a race, no doubt.

The NSL News had a very good reason to add a few days to this year's trip to the 2009 USPA National Skydiving Championships after the conclusion of the 4-way competition. The situation in 8-way was just too promising for not being live on competition site.

Round 1 was already the first evidence for the expected 8-way thriller. It will be a battle for the tickets to Russia and the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. The scores of Round 2 added to the excitement. All three top contenders completed 19 points in working time. Paraclete XP and Arizona Airspeed had them posted on the scoreboard, while the Golden Knights lost the very first point due to the video angle.

Dan BC commented the Airspeed performance in Round 3 when he came back to the hangar: "It cannot be more fun than that." In the meantime, the NSL News uploaded another video last night. This one introduces team A4C, with John Eagle, John Hamilton, Todd Hawkins and Eric Heinsheimer, Matt McLean was filming the team. The NSL Talk was recorded Wednesday morning during another weather hold.

John Eagle, John Hamilton and Eric Heinsheimer were team mates for the Air Moves in the 80s. They provided details of these team days for the audience and commented their current positions at the USPA Nationals 2009.

All A4C members now compete in different 8-way teams after joining forces in 4-way. John Eagle and Todd Hawkins try to win the competition with Paraclete XP. John Hamilton filled the open Airspeed slot, and Eric Heinsheimer joined the east/west combination of Spaceland BFE/Elsinore. John Hamilton is winning so far...
