His team mate and Center Outside Christy Frikken now added a few thoughts from her own view. She said that the scores were great, considering that it was the first meet of the 2010 season and that the teams exited from the Bell 212 helicopter. She also gave Hayabusa Defence credit for giving Arizona Airspeed a good competition: "I am happy to see that the Belgians produced scores I suspected they were capable of."
Then she mentioned once again how crucial Airspeed's competition experiences are for the world champions' 21-victory streak: "Airspeed is looking as strong as ever, I think their vast competition experience continues to help them dominate."
"Of course, I'm sure that Airspeed is very aware that with the French and Belgians looking so strong the world meet is anything but a done deal. Their impressive undefeated record may not last the season." Of course, Christy Frikken and her Perris Fury team mates are hoping that the winning streak will first be broken by their team. The opportunities will be there.
Then she also updated the NSL News with news of her Fury8 project team, Perris Moxie. The new all-female line up of 2010 begins training with a tunnel camp at Paraclete XP in February. Moxie has been together since 2006, and there have been only one or two adjustments each year to the lineup.
The Perris Moxie team name has become a well known brand not only within the Fury8 project. Christy Frikken said that Moxie is welcoming back Kris Peterson this year, who trained and competed with Sebastian Tempest in the past two years. She is the new Moxie Point.
Kris Peterson already has a history with Perris Moxie. She was the 8-way team's Center Inside in 2007. Christy Frikken is very glad to have her back in the lineup: "With the impressive 4-way training Kris has done in the seasons since she will certainly bring a great skill set to the team."
In addition to the team’s training, Perris Moxie is also expanding to run a tunnel skills camp. The camp is coached by Moxie’s team captain and Perris Fury member Christy Frikken, other team members will be assisting her guidance.
The Moxie tunnel camp is scheduled for March 6 and 7 in Perris and features combinations of individual flying, 3-on-1 and 2-on-2 sessions with Christy Frikken and other Moxie members, and of course 8-way skills development. Amy Von Novak is in charge to process inquiries by e-mail.
