Did You Know...

... that SDC Rhythm XP competes at the Shamrock Showdown and the World Challenge?

JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz at Becca's Bootie Boogie
posted Feb 2nd, 2010 - The NSL News' last segment of the Becca's Bootie Boogie coverage features a live update of the SDC Rhythm XP activities. Rob Radez, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz accepted the invitation of the NSL News for a quick NSL Talk session at a break between the jumps.

It turned out to be another NSL Talk with a Rhythm 3-way, as new member Thiago Muradas was not present. His team mates said that he was working hard to be ready for training hard very soon. The Rhythm training of 2010 with the new lineup is actually already in full swing.

The three Rhythm members reported that the team completed 7.5 hours of wind tunnel training the week prior to Becca's Bootie Boogie. More tunnel training has already been completed by now, as Thiago Muradas told the NSL News on his way back from Paraclete XP last week.

Tryout classroom session with Thiago Muradas
Rob Radez, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz said that they shared the first tunnel training with the Paraclete XP 4-way lineup (Kirk Verner, John Eagle, Andy Honigbaum, John D'Annunzio). The three Rhythm members and NSL News reporter Kurt Gaebel then related to the tryout weekend where three of the Paraclete members took Gaebel on a 4-way ride in the tunnel, while the Rhythm members had classroom sessions with their candidates.

The NSL News audience will soon have the opportunity to see the complete world class lineup in full action when the team competes at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 in March. SDC Rhythm XP will also attend the meet in DeLand. It will be the first competition with the new lineup. The NSL News is hopeful to catch the complete team at least once before the Shamrock...

Thiago Muradas focuses on his Tail job at the tryout
The three Rhythm members were joking about their own 3-way situation whenever an NSL Talk is on the agenda: "We can talk about him now that he is not here..."

The NSL News surely asked a few questions related to the tryout weekend, and Thiago Muradas' new team mates explained openly why they selected him. They said that all three candidates performed really well in all areas. However, Thiago Muradas impressed them with his amazing mental preparations for the tryout and for the new Tail slot.

They said that he promised to be well prepared for the tunnel event and for flying the Tail slot, and he explained how he would prepare himself. Then he followed up exactly as he had promised, and that left the greatest impression on the three Rhythm members and their coach Kirk Verner.

SDC Rhythm XP 2010 lineup
In fact, Thiago Muradas showed his new team mates how much anybody can use serious mental training to prepare for a completely new job. Rob Radez, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz said that they are now inspired to use the free training tool to their own and to the team's advantage.

They have seen their new Tail's performance as an example for themselves, and they appreciate the new challenge. The results of Rhythm's outdoor, indoor and mental training will soon turn into the first 2010 scores on the Shamrock Showdown leaderboard.

Especially Rhythm's tunnel skills will then be featured at the World Challenge 2010. The Sebastian/Chicago team will travel to Bedford for the first time and meet some of the best teams in the world again after the outdoor competition in DeLand. It will be an exciting spring for SDC Rhythm XP and for the NSL News audience.
