The first interesting event will be the competition draw on Friday evening, as it will indicate whether Arizona Airspeed will be able or not to keep the 20-point and up scoring streak alive.
At the same time, the preparations for the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010 and the World Challenge 2010 continue in full swing. The list of teams for this year's indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford was updated, while Paraclete XP's Kirk Verner provided the NSL News with his lineup for the 8-way competition with the Golden Knights and Dallas Rogue in DeLand.
Pete Allum trains and competes with Italy's national 4-way team Sinapsi. The NSL News recently posted an update from Italy on 1 February 2010. Pete Allum visits his former winter home at the time of the Shamrock and has some coaching jobs.
Kurt Isenbarger is the alternate for the new Golden Knights 8-way team. He is not training and competing with a full team commitment any longer. However, he is still current and well trained, more than enough to step in at any time. In fact, he competed with the Golden Knights Gold team at the USPA Nationals 2009 and finished in 4th place with a 21.6 average.
Kirk Verner's Paraclete XP4 team does not have much of a break after the 4-way and 8-way competition at the Shamrock Showdown. XP4 then travels to Bedford and will challenge the best 4-way teams in the world with the new lineup.
Two younger Paraclete members will also compete at the World Challenge. Antigravity XP consists of Josh D'Annunzio and Alex Verner. They will compete in the 2-way Freeflying competition in Bedford. They are too young to compete at the Shamrock Showdown...
