The Dutch/Belgian fun project team is chasing the 20-average benchmark after the same lineup posted a 19.4 average at the ESL Championship 2009. Sven Ibens already completed this mission with Hayabusa's 20.4 average at the World Meet 2006 in Germany and a 20.5 average at the ESL Championship 2006. Paul Hofstee came to an 18.8 average with his Dynamic Fource at the Dutch Nationals 2009. 4XTT's 19.4 average at the ESL Championship 2009 is still the highest result for three members.
This did not change at the Valentine's Meet 2010. The team did not expect it to happen at the first meet of the 2010 season anyway, and the competition draw was not supporting a record result, as well. 4XTT opened the 2010 season with a 17.4 average after the ten rounds in Eloy.
The 17.4 average in Eloy is the foundation for the 2010 work. 4XTT plans to complete ten hours of wind tunnel training and 250 outdoor jumps this year. Plan is to show the 20-point average at a competition at the end of the 2010 season.
Sven Ibens, who is also an IPC Delegate for Belgium and IPC Advisor for IPC's Formation Skydiving Committee, could bring back interesting judging information from Eloy. Arizona Airspeed and the judges discussed especially the four point deductions in Round 7 (completion of Block 18) and the general progression and judging strategies with each other and brought some points to Sven Ibens' attention. The IPC Subcommittee may continue with the same discussion soon.
