The competition of the best 4-way teams in the world will continue at Bodyflight Bedford, beginning on April 3rd.
In fact, the Top 5 teams at the Shamrock Showdown will compete again with each other, this time in the 16-foot flying chamber in Bedford.
Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge, NMP-PCH Hayabusa, Perris Fury, Aerokart Deep Blue and Paraclete XP4 have all signed up for the world's largest indoor competition and will face even tougher competition than it was in DeLand last weekend.
XL is another next world class lineup that will compete with the Top 5 of the Shamrock Showdown in Bedford. The British national 4-way team Satori is in an underdog position for the top rankings, together with the Russian team Kaktus Hunter and the French B-Team Aerokart PCs.
Three other teams that competed at the Shamrock Showdown will also travel to Bedford next week. SDC Rhythm XP will probably try to make the Top 10 in Bedford, which will be even more challenging than at the Shamrock Showdown. It required a 23.9 average at the World Challenge 2009 to place 10th, and it will not be easier this year.
UK team Kaizen just finished the visit in DeLand with a few additionmal training days. UK's national 4-way team of 2009 in the female category has a new team member for the Center Inside slot, Francois Cathelain. The days in the female category are now over for Kaizen.
Point Joanne Hawley had bad luck during the competition in DeLand and twisted her ankle. Coach Pete Allum filled the slot for the remaining rounds and the last training days in DeLand. Joanne Hawley will try to be back with her team for the indoor competition.
The eight teams of the Shamrock Showdown 2010 are not the only travelers from Florida to the United Kingdom. Judy Celaya and Rina Gallo, two of the most experienced judges in the world, worked hard at the Shamrock Showdown and provided excellent judging. Judy Celaya will now make her first trip to Bedford next week. It will be even more work there.
Last not least, the NSL News is ready for the third visit at Bodyflight Bedford. This time, it will be full journalistic coverage all day long, and also on some of the evenings and nights. The Shamrock Showdown with management work and Teiwaz 4-way fun does not allow enough time for similar full coverage. No competing in Bedford for the NSL News reporter though, and Bodyflight Bedford takes care of the management. The NSL News coverage will be as exciting and comprehensive as possible.
