Did You Know...

... that the new videos feature Friday action at the World Challenge 2010?

Torstein Valen with Polaris and Pro Team members
posted Apr 2nd, 2010 - Finally, the new videos of the Friday action at the World Challenge 2010 have made it to the NSL News server. The first clip still relates to some Thursday news.

The NSL News camera now captured live flying footage of XL this morning. Yesterday's videos featured bits of XL footage during the team's traditional debriefing session and the live NSL Talk in the Bodyflight Bedford Leisure Center. XL added a training session Friday morning to the team's preparations, and it surely looks like XL will be competing for the tops spots once again.

The same video also features the Norwegian national 4-way team in the female category, Polaris. It was not an all-female lineup this morning though, as Tail Sissel Maria Finnseth had not arrived in Bedford in time for the morning session. Norgies 40 member Torstein Valen filled the slot for his girlfriend. The NSL News explained with the previous story how he came to be at the World Challenge this year. The NSL News camera focused in a few times on one of the most talented Center Inside flyers in the sport, who won three world meet bronze medals in this slot.

Atmosfera G4 with Sarah Smith-Cannon this morning
The 4-way team Atmosfera G4 from Portugal shared the same tunnel hour with XL and Polaris. The NSL News had explained earlier this year how the team members are working on bringing up 4-way competition in their South European country. A new update from Portugal will follow soon.

Atmosfera G4 was working with Team Bodyflight member Sarah Smith-Cannon today, who has been coaching them already earlier this year. Her own team finished the meet preparations last Monday and will not fly again before the showdown with Aerokart Deep Blue in the female 4-way category begins tomorrow morning.

The video clip of the Friday morning action finishes with another XL flying session. In the meantime, the NSL News camera captured new activities at the Flow House. This time, there were real surfers on the water's surface while it is freezing outside. The upcoming video also features a new live NSL Talk with a preview of the upcoming top competition. Craig Girard, Roy Janssen, Pete Allum and Gary Smith took a few minutes for the NSL News.
