Did You Know...

... that a large crowd cheered for Perris Fury's 66-pointer?

CamScore DZ-TV viewing area in the Flow House
posted Apr 3rd, 2010 - The NSL News is getting ahead of the competition at the World Challenge 2010 now. The judges are still working on the scores for Round 2, while the teams are getting ready for Round 4.

The NSL TV camera was in the flying chamber for a shorter time and captured three teams finishing Round 3: Arizona Airspeed, NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Perris Fury. The next stop was the Flow House with the viewing area where a large crowd was watching the judging of Round 2.

The NSL News missed the larger part of the judging in the viewing area, and the scores will be posted as soon as the judges provide the official information. However, it seems like the NSL News observations live in the tunnel were not too far off.

Round 3 at the World Challenge 2010
Perris Fury after the 66-pointer
Perris Fury and Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge got through the Round 2 sequence without much damage, while Arizona Airspeed and XL suffered the most. The leaderboard will look differently when all scores will be posted.

Perris Fury did it again and took advantage of a very fast round. Observers said that the Fury score was 66 points, which would leave the team's previous highscore of 59 points in the dust.

There was already a lot of discussion about the judging procedure, as some of the jumps and/or portions of them were evaluated in full speed and also in slower speed. The NSL News has no information so far what kind of judging procedure is being used. However, the meet goes on, and Round 4 is not too far away.
