... that the NSL News added penalty information of the Midway Battle?

Camscore scoring information
posted Jun 29th, 2010 - The NSL News is following up on the most recent meets with additional information. The first update provides penalty information of the Midway Battle at Skydive Chicago.

The NSL News received the official Camscore scoresheet, which provides the details of the posted scores. The NSL News added the number of penalties in parenthesis behind the official score, round by round.

In addition, the total now also shows (in parenthesis) the number of points within working time and before penalties. The average is only related to the official scores and the official total. The new data allows a closer look at the scoring potential of the teams.

Prepares for the USPA Nationals 2010: Perris Fury
Perris Fury's Center Inside, Chris Farina, explained that his team lost a total of five points due to video angles. Fury lost two more points due to other infringements and suffered the most. Judy Celaya was the event judge at the Midway Battle, and she will also do her great work at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 in Menzelinsk, Russia.

Chris Farina added that the competition "was a good chance to see where we are at this point in the season". Fury was planning to complete the last five rounds the week after the meet weekend and share the scores with Arizona Airspeed. The US national 4-way team had the same plans.

Fury was back in training this week. Airspeed's strongest challenger at this year's USPA Nationals will use the information of the Midway Battle to help focus the training on some of the weaker points that became apparent at this meet.

Chris Farina added that Fury had "pretty good first five rounds". He said that his team had a couple of points close to the 35-second mark: "We just need to clean a few things up,and we will have things where we want them to be going into Nationals."
