In the meantime, the NSL News met with Shannon Pilcher in the morning and before the teams boarded the plane for Round 1. This NSL Talk covered mostly Round 3 where everybody expects the current world record to fall.
Shannon Pilcher is coaching the Canadian team Evolution, and he has no doubt that the sequence is fast enough that his own team and a few others will score higher than 45 points.
There have been several fast sequences of only random formations in the past years. The competition draw for this year's world meet includes another very fast sequence. Round 9 will bring additional high scores to the leaderboard. Most likely, it will also lead to a new record meet average.
