Several people had counted 57 points for Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge before the scores were posted. The scoresheet did not show any point deductions, and the official score was 56 points on the leaderboard.
The French team will probably challenge the score for Round 3 in the morning, and it is important. So far, Sky Panthers and Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge share the new world record of 56 points. France would have it alone with a 57-pointer.
Germany is now eight points ahead of the Dutch team and also outscored UK's Satori enough to even pass the underdog for top positions by four points. However, the Germans are realistic and expect Satori to come back, as they are better trained. Paratec completed little over 65 jumps this year, but they like the fast sequences. The NSL News coverage is not over for today. Joey Jones and Gary Smith wrapped up the day with a new NSL Talk session, which will be uploaded soon. There may be even time to show some scenes of the opening ceremony, which was a big party for a big crowd of Menzelinsk citizens and the world meet participants.
