Did You Know...

... that Arizona Airspeed performed like world champions in Round 4?

posted Aug 2nd, 2010 - The 8-way teams can take a break from their battle at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010, it's time for 4-way again in Menzelinsk.

The Open Class teams were first in today's order and completed Round 4. The audience is still eagerly waiting for the scores of Round 3 in the female category.

In the meantime, the scores of Round 4 in the Open Class have made the competition even more exciting.

Arizona Airspeed delivered a world champion performance and won the round by two points. The Top 4 teams are now separated by two points. What a battle.

Paratec-Saar: Dreaming of the Finals?
The NSL-TV camera was on stand-by as soon as the videos were shown on the TV screens, and it captured quite a few of the 19 teams, including several top teams. Luckily, Arizona Airspeed's outstanding 23-pointer was shown at the right time at the screen that allows for a reasonable video quality.

It has become a race between four teams for the medals. Russia's Sky Panthers have joined the three medal winners of 2008 in this battle. Canada, Italy and the UK team Satori have fallen out of contention for a medal position at the moment. In fact, Germany's "amateur team" Paratec-Saar is now ahead of Sinapsi and Satori and may begin to dream of a slot in the finals.

Penalties: Italy (-3), Kazakhstan (-2), France (-1), Belgium (-1), UK (-1), Finland (-1), Norway (-1), Sweden (-1)
