Did You Know...

... that Rookie turned into Cookie in Round 6?

Highscore in Round 6: Golden Knights
posted Aug 3rd, 2010 - The 8-way scores are telling the whole story by themselves. It has now turned into a 2-team battle, as the Russian Barkli team fell too far behind in Round 6. Barkli tied the US and French 22-pointers in Round 5, and the meet was neutralized for a round.

Then Round 6 brought the US team fully back into the gold medal business. Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge and Golden Knights completed the same number of formations in working time, but the French team lost another two points in the judging room. The total French damage has gone up to four points, while the Golden Knights have had a totally clean meet so far.

The 8-way teams are in the boarding area for another round, and the 4-way teams have arrived at the dropzone.

Russian TV shows interest in Cookie's caked story
The NSL-TV camera captured the reactions of the Top 3 teams in the landing area after Round 6. The dropzone was also the place of other action at the same place and the same time.

Norwegian competitors had informed the NSL News that team member Kjetil "Rookie" Nordin would make his 1000th jump in Round 6. They said that it might be worth to be in the landing area with the camera.

Kjetil "Rookie" Nordin had somehow figured out that trouble was brewing for him, and he tried to escape his destiny for a little while. However, his team mates did not let him get away and eventually forced him to the spot where the cake was waiting for the Rookie who turned into the Cookie then. Congratulations, and welcome to the Cookie Club.
