The headline of the first story explained in a few words that those four teams would not change their ranking order at any time any more after the results of Round 3. However, this does not mean that there was not much competition for the amateur championship.
In fact, it was surprising enough that UK team Satori was a part of this internal competition. It was even more surprising that the German team Paratec-Saar was ahead of Satori after Round 3. It became really threatening for UK's national team when the Germans were still ahead by three points after Round 6.

There was also Finland's Pro Team that was hanging on to Dynamic Fource's heels.
The Dutch team seemed to have a comfortable 6-point lead after Round 5 before the Pro Team charged in Round 6 and reduced the distance to four points.
All four teams lost points in Round 6, and Dynamic Fource suffered the most with two deductions. The three other contenders lost one point each. The videos offer the details and the penalty situations.
Dynamic Fource could not get any closer to the two teams ahead and was also not able to shake off the Pro Team. This race between the national teams from the Netherlands and Finland became even closer, and the Pro Team eventually reduced the difference to two points.
This middle stretch of the competition in Menzelinsk was also the slowest one of meet. The three opening rounds were a mixture of two slow 3-point sequences and the world record sequence of Round 3. The slow middle part was followed by the last three rounds for the semi-finalists, which accelerated in pace until the fast finish in Round 9. Only the TOP 6 teams completed all ten rounds.
