The NSL News story on 1 September 2010 provided more details of the project and reported some of the activities. Event organizer Cherie Schuch now informed the NSL News that the participation is close to maximum capacity. However, a few slots may still be available.
She made clear at the the same time that this is not a team event: "It is fun 4-way event with people grouped according to similar skills." She added that a skills camp is part of the weekend's program and that additional practice time is available on Friday evening and Sunday morning. Interested people can get in touch with her directly by e-mail: hallschuch(AT)verizon.net.
Cherie and Karl Schuch will be available for coaching and to fly with the participants during the extra time on Friday evening and Sunday morning. They will also fly with Paraclete XP4 members Kirk Verner and Andy Honigbaum to improve their own competitive skills.
Cherie and Karl Schuch have been training and competing with different lineups over the years and attended the USPA Nationals 2010 with Teiwaz. They are both well known in the 4-way community for their inspiring personalities and for their motivation to forward their own experiences to others.
The additional flying time on Friday evening can be used to warm up for the actual meet on Saturday. The flying time after the event on Sunday would be perfect for instant work on special skills based on the meet experiences the day before.
Cherie Schuch is once again working together with Aerodyne project organizer Louis French who will also be at Paraclete this weekend. Both ran the last reported event very successfully and have more similar events in the works.
