Did You Know...

... that Polaris is the only female 4-way team with the same lineup next year?

Two more years: Norway's female 4-way team Polaris
posted Nov 23rd, 2010 - NSL-TV now wraps up the video coverage of the female 4-way competition at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 with Rounds 9 and 10.

China and Sweden did not complete Round 10, as both teams were officially eliminated after the semifinal Round 9. The Norwegian Polaris lineup had ist best round of the meet and outscored USA and Germany both in the last round of the meet.

This must have been motivating and encouraging for Polaris, and it makes the team look forward to the new 2-year period. The same lineup has committed to continue for two more years, and the results in Menzelinsk are promising. Norway may have a new medal contender after winning silver medals at the world meets in 2001 and 2003.

Norway's chances may be even better than it looked after the world meet in Menzelinsk. Polaris is the only team that continues with the same lineup. France has two new members, and the NSL News will introduce the new lineup very soon. The United Kingdom has no plans at all yet as of a new female lineup, at least not to the knowledge of the NSL News.

The same counts for the US team, even though two of the Spaceland Blue members have plans to compete at the Dubai Championship 2011. Germany's ISB Air team has a new team member, as the NSL News recently reported.

The NSL News will soon go back to the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2010 where Skytrax, with the new ISB Air member Petra van Overveld, posted scores for seven rounds. Skytrax completed all ten rounds, but the other two teams did not get to complete the meet. NSL-TV will also follow up with more meet videos of the AAA Class competition.
