Did You Know...

... that the NSL New Year's greetings came from Sebastian?

Skydive Sebastian on New Year's Day
posted Jan 2nd, 2011 - The Happy Holidays and Thank You greeting came from the NSL News office in DeLand, the Happy New Year's message was recorded in Sebastian on 1-1-11.

Occasion was the annual New Year's Boogie, which started out years ago as the "Cross Keys Invasion". Visitors are now coming from many other regions, as well, and SDC Rhythm XP spending the winter season in Sebastian brings additional traffic to the south from the Midwest Skydiving League region.

Rob Radez, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz were busy organizing loads and putting smaller groups of mostly recreational skydivers together. The NSL-TV camera captured a few minutes of NSL Chat, while JaNette Lefkowitz' had her lunch break.

Beach jumps at the Sebastian Inlet
One of the visitors from the Midwest Skydiving League was joining the conversation. Jetstream Tango's Center Outside Eric Bambach happened to spend a few days in sunny Florida, as well. Becca Minkin also used the opportunity to announce her annual Bootie Boogie in February once again.

The Florida Skydiving Leagues is planning to offer several activities during the winter season, which will be aiming at connecting future 4-way fans with each other. The SDC Rhythm XP members and Becca Minkin have similar goals and will join forces for some of the events. Details will be announced soon.

The NSL TV camera was supposed to capture some beach landings at the end of the day, which are always a part of the Sebastian experience. Unfortunately, the winds were too strong on New Year's Day, and the NSL TV camera could film nothing but the beautiful beach. It was a nice start into 2011 anyway.
