Did You Know...

... that SDC Rhythm XP's ghost meet in Sebastian is not over yet?

Ghost meet in Sebastian
posted Jan 19th, 2011 - SDC Rhythm XP did not complete all eight rounds of the Dubai Championship 2011 since the weather did not fully cooperate in the morning. However, only one round is missing, and the NSL News completed the "Rhythm-4-A-Day" live project in Sebastian with another video clip.

This last one shows the videos of Rounds 4 to 7, and it includes another NSL Talk with the team at the end of the day. The Rhythm members were happy with the results of the day and explained why. They also discuss the age of the top competitors in the sport and the young Belgian and French lineups.

A few more days of 4-way training follow for Rhythm before JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz travel to Paraclete XP in Raeford for the next Rhythm tunnel camp. Rob Radez stays in Florida and will offer free coaching and load organizing this Saturday on the team's home turf in Sebastian. The whole lineup will then meet in Raeford next week for a few days of intensive indoor training. It will be time for the Dubai cleanup session...

Gradient Alpha in Dubai
The NSL News used a stop watch to find out where the US top challenger currently stands compared to the teams that competed in Dubai. Rhythm actually went neck to neck with the best Russian team in Dubai, Gradient Alpha, throughout the first four rounds, won five points in Round 5 and lost two points in each of the next two rounds.

Rhythm is up by one point over the the leader of the Russian 3-team line after seven rounds and right behind Arizona Airspeed despite the slightly lower point average. Round 8 offers the opportunity for Rhythm to finish in 4th place.

The distance to Airspeed and the other two international top teams is still a long one at this point in time. However, the next meet will bring together the best US teams at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011, and Rhythm plans to be much closer by then. After that, the Shamrock Showdown 2011 will offer the opportunity to compete directly with Aerodyne Aerokart and NMP-PCH Hayabusa in DeLand.
