Coaches and organizers reported that the first day of the boogie was very busy, as well, significantly busier compared to the first two events in 2009 and 2010. Becca Lynn's idea of attracting more skydivers back and new skydivers to Formation Skydiving and to casual competition or even hard-core 4-way or 8-way seems to be working well. The NSL gladly supports this campaign throughout the whole NSL Network, as recent coverage of several other "belly and bootie boogies" has shown.
Becca's organizers and player coaches were all busy this morning when the NSL News arrived. In fact, Becca Lynn was looking for additional staff since the demand for guidance and instructions was even higher than expected.
Skydive City has a 6-way team, Skydive DeLand has a team, and Skydive Sebastian tries to defend the home turf with a local 6-way group. Mike Raible just informed the NSL News that the DeLand team won. NSL-TV is trying to get a hold of some 6-way videos, while the first video clip with Becca's Bootie Boogie activities has been uploaded and is available for reviews.
JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz were organizing as player coaches for 4-way groups, Katie Woods and Karl Schuch did the same. Cherie Schuch had a 4-way team, as well, pretty much a 3-on-1 group. BBB participant John Dale was the lucky guy of the day, as he had Bob Schindler and Marty Schneider in Cherie Schuch's group who know well what they are doing in 4-way...
All player coaches volunteer their time and expertise to help Becca's Bootie Boogie and the mission of the event. Katie Woods had just finished with a similar project in DeLand last weekend, as well as the Rhythm members in Sebastian.
Becca's Bootie Boogie continues tomorrow, with the option to go into Monday, as well. The organizers and coaches will be back tomorrow for Sunday's bootie flyers. Becca's Bootie Party is scheduled for Saturday evening, and she has once again some surprises foor the participants.
