Did You Know...

... that NMP-PCH Hayabusa missed Perris Fury's 66-record by one point?

Game over for the defending champions?
posted Apr 2nd, 2011 - It was no surprise that it would take a little bit longer until the scores for Round 3 would be complete. Perris Fury's 66-pointer at the World Challenge 2010 is the highest score for a single round in the history of Formation Skydiving competition so far.

Arizona Airspeed began to challenge it at the World Challenge 2011 as the first of the top teams and finished with a 60-pointer. NMP-PCH Hayabusa went faster and still ended up one point short with a 65-pointer. However, once again Airspeed lost serious ground in the fast sequence of Round 3, and Hayabusa increased the lead over Airspeed to seven points.

Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge had a serious meltdown with a 52-pointer, and there are realistically no chances any longer for the French team to defend the World Challenge title successfully. XL had a 58-pointer, followed by Satori's 57-pointer. SDC Rhythm XP scored 56 points, and the field followed with scores below 50 points. France and Germany keep battling in the female competition and are still separated by only one single point after two 44-pointers.
